Need rest?
SATURDAY PRAISES
Rest. It’s something we all long for but often can’t find. But what exactly is rest?
Let’s start by defining what rest is not:
agitation
anxiety
confusion
discontent
discord
moodiness
turmoil
trouble
uneasiness
upset
worry
And this is only a partial list!
And here’s what rest is:
relief (from worries and troubles)
repose
solitude
tranquility
mental or spiritual calm
take a break
We’ll continue this discussion next week but let me ask you an important question, Beloved:
which list are you on right now?

Which list?
Even if one of the things from the first list is present, I would still be in the second, because *IN* every trial, Christ is there with me. I am secure in Him and HE gives real peace and rest.
What an amazing God!
Wow, I really like that, Cloudwatcher. Thank you for sharing that with us!
