Happy birthday!

Here’s little tidbit I’m not sure you know about. Yesterday was my birthday, today is Rick’s. I’ve shared the story here before of our meeting online. The fact that our birthdays are one day apart was the main reason Rick and I met. Definitely a God-incidence! When I saw how close together our birthdays are, I knew I had to write to him.

This photo is a blast from the past, taken on Cannery Row while we were on our honeymoon in Monterey, California. We’ll celebrate our 15th anniversary later this year.

So, happy birthday to my sweetie and me!

Another Born Day celebration

Today is my Honey’s birthday. Yep, the day after mine!  We met online 14 years ago because our back-to-back birthdays were a super coincidence that I couldn’t ignore. Plus it was a great way to start a conversation with Rick.

And here we are, all these years later, still celebrating that God-incidence that placed us together.

Born Day mementos

I was born 61 years ago today in upstate New York at exactly 2:00 p.m., Eastern time. My hubby calls this my “born day” and wishes me a “happy born day” every year.

My Mom was extremely organized and kept photos and baby things for all us girls. Recently I came across the baby book and other baby goodies Mom passed on to me several years before she went to be with the Lord. I decided to photograph everything and share them with you.
